Girls Competitive Teams
Southlake Gymnastics Academy has both USAG and TAAF girls gymnastics programs. The coaches that work with your daughters have a combined total of over 50 years of coaching experience. Whether your daughter is a pre-teamer or an optional, we have the perfect place for your daughter to fit in here at SGA. From the top gymnasts in the gym to the newest ones gearing up for their first year of competition, our coaching staff works with each and every gymnast to help make them feel at home so they are excited to return practice after practice. As we continue to grow, we look forward to what the future has to offer SGA gymnasts as they gain more experience and accolades.

Our Coaches
Shannon Prince
Girls Competitive Team Director
An alumni of the University of Oklahoma Gymnastics, Shannon brings experience as a top-notch gymnast and a top-notch competitive coach to SGA. Shannon works hands-on with all girls from pre-team through our optional athletes. A constant sight in the gym for these girls, she helps them trust and feel encouraged about their future in the sport.

Brenna Wetzel
Girls Competitive Coach
A competitive gymnast from Seattle, you will probably still find Brenna upside down and flipping around in the gym. She spent seven years coaching Levels 1 - 6 in Washington before becoming a part of our team at SGA. Brenna works with our pre-schoolers in the mornings and our pre-team and level 4 team in the afternoons. If you are headed toward the team program, you will most certainly be working with her!
